ARTICLE 1: SCHEDULE

On Sunday, 14 February 2027, at 09:00 h, the Carrera de la Primavera Community of Madrid 2027 – Year of the Goat will take place.

The available distances and start times are:

5K Run & Walk – 09:00 h
8K Run – 09:00 h
16K Run – 09:00 h

NOTE: These times may be modified by the organisation of the event. Updates will be published on the official race website.

ARTICLE 2: REGISTRATION

Registration will be carried out online. Once the registration is completed, the fee will not be refundable under any circumstances.

If you have purchased the refund service with ProtectGroup, please contact them directly.

The registration period will run from 29 March 2026 until 11 February 2027 or until the maximum number of participants is reached.

The organisation reserves the right to close registrations early once the technical limit of bibs has been reached.

Age requirements:

• 5K event: open to all participants.
• 8K event: open to participants aged 16 and over.
• 16K event: open to participants aged 16 and over.

Promotions are not cumulative.

No registrations will be accepted on race day.

Payment must be made at the time of registration.

For group registrations via bank transfer, prior request must be sent to info@carreradelaprimavera.es

5% of the registration fee will be donated to the NGO REFORESTA.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

All participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times (who must also be registered) and may only participate in the 5K.

Participants aged 16 and over may participate in the 8K and 16K events, provided they are properly registered.

Participants under 18 must present parental authorisation to take part in the race.

ARTICLE 3: BIBS, CHIPS AND T-SHIRTS COLLECTION

Bibs can be collected on 12 and 13 February at Explanada del Puente del Rey, Madrid 28008.

Opening hours:
• Friday 12 February: 10:00 h – 20:00 h
• Saturday 13 February: 10:00 h – 18:00 h

NOTE: The distances that will use timing chips are the 5K, 8K and 16K. Only athletes wearing the official chip provided by the organisation will appear in the official results.

For bib collection, presentation of the participant’s ID is mandatory. If collected by another person, they must present an authorisation letter and a copy of the participant’s ID.

ARTICLE 4: TIME LIMIT

Maximum duration times:

• 5K: 1 h 30 min (finish closes at 10:30 h)
• 8K: 2 h (finish closes at 11:00 h)
• 16K: 2 h (finish closes at 11:00 h)

ARTICLE 5: COURSE

The start will be located at Paseo Virgen del Puerto (Puente del Rey area).

The finish line will be located at the Puente del Rey esplanade.

The organisation may modify the course due to weather conditions, safety reasons or force majeure, informing participants via the official website www.carreradelaprimavera.es

ARTICLE 6: REGISTRATION BENEFITS

Registration includes:

• Participation in the Carrera de la Primavera
• Official event T-shirt
• Digital diploma sent via email
• Entry into prize draws
• Access to aid stations

AID STATIONS:

There will be one aid station at km 5 (16K) and one at the finish line for all distances.

TIMING:

The 5K, 8K and 16K events will be timed using a chip-based net timing system.

BAGGAGE STORAGE:

Available in the start/finish area from 07:30 h until the end of the race. One bag per participant. The organisation is not responsible for valuable items.

ARTICLE 7: VEHICLES

The course will be completely closed to traffic. Only vehicles authorised by the organisation and properly accredited may circulate.

ARTICLE 8: TROPHIES

The awards ceremony will take place on 14 February 2027 at the winners’ podium.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each distance.

In the 5K, trophies will also be awarded to the top three boys and girls under 12.

Failure to attend the ceremony will be considered a waiver of the prize, unless previously authorised by the organisation.

ARTICLE 9: DISQUALIFICATIONS

The following will result in disqualification:

• Not completing the full course
• Not wearing a visible bib
• Use of another runner’s bib
• Alteration of bib or advertising
• Failure to pass checkpoints
• Unsportsmanlike behaviour
• Disobeying organisation instructions
• Finishing without a bib

ARTICLE 10: ACCEPTANCE

Registration implies full acceptance of these rules.

Participants declare that they are physically fit to take part in the race.

Participants assume all risks inherent to participation in a sporting event, except those arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the organisation.

Participants authorise the use of their image for promotional, informational and commercial purposes related to the event.

In accordance with EU Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), personal data will be processed by KDH IBERIA SL for organisational and promotional purposes.
